How to play Blackjack
1Place your bet
Pick a stake and hit Deal. You and the dealer each receive two cards — one of the dealer's stays face-down until your turn ends.
2Hit, stand, or double
Hit to take another card, Stand to freeze your total, or Double on your first action to match your stake and take exactly one more card.
3Beat the dealer
Get closer to 21 than the dealer without busting. The dealer then draws to at least 17. Higher total wins.
Payouts
- Natural blackjack (21 on your first two cards) pays 3:2.
- Regular win pays 1:1 — you get your stake back plus the same amount again.
- Push (tie with the dealer) returns your stake untouched.
- Bust (over 21) or losing the hand forfeits your stake.
Good to know
- • Dealer stands on all 17 (including soft 17) and always draws until reaching at least that.
- • Aces count as 1 or 11 automatically — whichever keeps the hand valid. Face cards are worth 10.
- • Bet range: $1–$1000.
- • An unfinished hand resumes when you come back to the page — you'll return to exactly the same position.
